2. Payment Terms

3. DJ Requirements

Space Requirements: A 5'x10' area free from rain

Electrical Requirements: Minimum 3x120VDC electrical sockets

4. DJ Responsibilities

The DJ will provide all necessary music equipment, including speakers, microphones, and controllers.

The DJ will arrive at least 90 minutes before the event for setup.

The DJ will adhere to the playlist preferences provided by the Client in the Event Questionnaire Form.

5. Cancellation Policy

If the Client cancels this Agreement, any monies paid, excluding the non-refundable deposit, will be refunded.

If the DJ cancels due to an emergency, the DJ will make reasonable efforts to find a replacement. If no replacement is found, the Client will receive a full refund, including the deposit.

6. Force Majeure

Neither Party shall be liable for failure or delay in performing obligations due to causes beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, government restrictions, or emergencies.

7. Liability Disclaimer

The DJ is not responsible for any damages, injuries, or venue restrictions that may arise before, during, or after the event. The Client is responsible for ensuring compliance with venue policies and accommodating the DJ's setup needs.

8. Dispute Resolution and Legal Fees

If a dispute arises that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, the Parties agree to engage in mediation.

If mediation fails and legal action ensues, the prevailing party will be entitled to recover legal fees, including attorney’s fees.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Virginia and the District of Columbia.

10. Entire Agreement

This Agreement represents the entire agreement between the Parties. Any modifications must be made in writing and signed by both Parties.

11. Agreement Confirmation

By checking this box, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this contract.
